Christophe Lienhard

Managing Partner

 

Christophe is a Swiss entrepreneur, investor and executive offering more than 20 years’ successful experience in building and growing businesses in the field of E-Commerce, Banking, Payment, Advertising, Software, Internet, Telecom and Wireless. Christophe has the experience to both finance and execute business operations, with expertise in bringing new technology to market from product development, including business development and commercialization.

During his career he has held senior positions within Orange, France Telecom and Swisscom, and has a proven track record in negotiating and closing deals with US, European and Asian customers.

His passion is to build and deploy solutions for the under-served populations providing empowering services originally reserved for privileged minorities.

Christophe holds a MBA in General management from IMD and a BSC in Telecommunication. As Chief Operations Officer of Forbes Digital Commerce, he won the Red Herring Global Awards in 2011.

Lars Erik Hogh

Senior Advisor

Lars has 25 years of experience within the financial sector, particularly in the investment fund industry.

He began his career with a financial institution in Copenhagen that later formed Nordea. Lars managed a range of fixed income portfolios with Nordea Investment Funds and also developed an alternative product fund range. In 2009, he was appointed CEO of Nordeas fund company in Luxembourg where he left his position in 2014.

Since 2014 Lars has established and maintained a regulated entity in Luxembourg overseeing a €3.1b EUR UCITS and works as a consultant and director in the investment funds industry.
Lars holds a Masters degree in Business and Economics from Copenhagen Business School, is a CFA and FRM charter holder and graduated with an Executive MBA in General Management from IMD in 2006. In addition, he is certified as an International Director (IDP-C) with INSEAD and ILA.

Erik Holst-Roness

Senior Advisor

Erik is a trusted advisor to central banks, governments, financial institutions, and merchants across the globe. A recognized expert in payment solutions technology, he has advised organizations like ISOC and the UN’s ITU on technology implementation in the developing world.

Prior to supporting African governments, Erik was Chief Strategy Officer and President MEA of GoSwiff, Chief Executive Officer of TeleGlobal and Managing Director for Holron Computing, where he spearheaded the distribution and marketing of computers and services for prominent industry players such as Apple, Epson and Compaq, and ultimately helped to establish one of the first internet service providers in Africa.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering & Management as well as a Masters degree in Operations Research at the University of Sussex.

Rebecca Ayoola

Senior Advisor

 

Rebecca brings her considerable experience in Financial Services in emerging markets in Africa, a real-world experience in adapting the latest technology innovations in mobile payments and electronic transactions to the hard environment of weak infrastructure and harsh environments of emerging markets.

Rebecca was VP Business Development for the Sub-Sahara region of goSwiff, one of the world’s top mobile point of sales companies, overseeing the key African markets including Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana and Nigeria. Rebecca was also the Executive Director of Sales and Operations for Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Ltd, a leading provider of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, helpdesk and PoS services to banks in Nigeria.  In that role, she helped Tranter IT grow from a small start-up to over 250 staff.

Rebecca has broad experience in project management and implementation as well as P&L responsibility in small and medium enterprises in domains stretching from construction to financial services. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Decision Management from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK.

Yusuke Kanda

Senior Advisor

Yusuke has been Representative Director & General Manager at Tapjoy in Japan for the last 6 years, responsible for the Japanese business of this US-based mobile ad-tech company.
Previously, he represented three European entities of the Japanese mobile technology company Access Co, and was also President of the European subsidiary of NTT DoCoMo, the number one Japanese mobile operator. During 7 years in DoCoMo he was first engaged in its strategic investment in foreign telecom operators, then led the team to deploy mobile internet service to Europe.

In his early career, he worked for Japan Airlines for 14 years where he had experience of both IT division and route marketing. In the latter, he dealt with various airline companies in Europe and Asia in both commercial and government affairs. 

Yusuke holds a MBA in General Management from IMD (graduated with honors) and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

After a truly extraordinary personal journey that originated from very humble yet caring beginnings, Robert works with his own company and other organizations that are focused on helping others realize the magnificent breadth of their own lives, while creating value along the way.
